Diablo 3 on February 1?
EDIT: Bashiok, Blizzard’s community manager has just denied that Diablo 3 will be coming out on the 1st via Twitter:
Diablo III does not have a release date. Any store or person claiming otherwise is guessing.
Will the Diablo 3 clickathon begin on February 1? According to our ancient demonic ouija board, signs point to yes. Best Buy (who is breaking the news before Blizzard officially is) has Diablo 3 scheduled to hit their physical and digital shelves on February 1, 2012. Similarly, online U.K. retailer Gameplay is currently listing the European release date as February 3rd, 2012.
Again, Blizzard hasn’t officially announced a statement to support either. Their website lists only “early 2012″ as the release. What better way to spend Valentine’s Day (because we all know that Diablo 3 is gonna be as much of a time sink as Skyrim) than beneath a church, surrounded by demons? <3
