Twisted Metal Demo available until Feb 8

Today, Twisted Metal creator David Jaffe revealed the details about the new Twisted Metal demo hitting the PlayStation network today (February 1 in Europe). In addition to revealing that every new copy of Twisted Metal will come with a copy of Twisted Metal Black (sans cutscenes), the upcoming demo also features a laundry list of awesome details:

• There are eight playable vehicles are available in the demo, each with their own unique weapon sets. So much better than other games like this that feature one or two characters you can try out.
• The demo packs two multiplayer modes: a classic free-for-all deathmatch mode and a new team based Nuke mode (a brand new capture the flag variant)/
• The demo rounds out with a Challenge mode that lets you practice your moves before you invest in the full retail version of the game.

Twisted Metal (sure to fall under fire to Yahtzee Croshaw who hates arbitrary numbering systems) will arrive in your favourite local retail shop on February 14, just in time to shower your loved ones in motor oil.
