(Video) Mega Man’s triumphant return!
Capcom and Namco today announced the inclusion of some of the included special characters in the upcoming game, Capcom X Tekken. The characters are exclusive to the PlayStation platform and include Cole from InFamous, Pac Man, Kuro and Toro, and the blue bomber, Mega Man.
Except, probably not the way you likely fondly remember him. In this version, Capcom has gone all the way back to the original game and instead of including the 8 bit bot, they’ve instead taken the character from the cover of Mega Man 1 and included that version of him in the game, with the addition of about forty pounds (give or take).
I’ve read mixed reactions to the trailer with some people panning it and instantly getting their hate machines fired up and others have instantly taken a liking to the game. Personally, I think it’s a pretty cool idea. From the looks of earlier trailers, Capcom X Tekken seems like a very campy, over the top sort of game. I think this character adds to that and I’m looking forward to seeing what else he can do.
