Insert Coin:
This week’s show features ‘Team Torchlight’ with Andrew and Corey and ‘Team Diablo’ with Mathew and Warren. Runic Games kindly sent us two beta codes for early access to Torchlight II so Andrew and Corey have been playing it over the last week. Mathew and Warren have been playing Diablo III co-op almost non-stop since it was released on May 15th.
Bounty Board:
Matt, Andrew and Corey are on the panel for this week’s news segment. Andrew starts things off discussing the Wii U controller redesign. More details should be made available for the Wii U at E3 coming up early next month. Next up are rumours of a Star Fox / Metroid mashup coming out for the Wii U. Matt discusses some of the Borderlands 2 special edition offerings coming up. Gearbox is really going all out with these! For the last couple of quick stories, Diablo III sold 3.5M copies on the first day alone. For a PC game, this is pretty incredible. Also, Beyond Good & Evil 2 is not dead. There are some screenshots available and it has a really cool look. If you haven’t played the first game, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Warp Zone:
Mathew and Warren face off in this week’s speed round with Matt moderating:
