Insert Coin:

Mat, Warren and Andrew talk about their gaming over the past week. Andrew starts off by talking about Batman: Arkham City and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood that he downloaded via the Steam sale. He also picked up Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD on XBLA. Warren has been playing The Binding of Isaac (done in part by Edmund McMillen, who co-created Super Meat Boy) and Spy vs. Spy that was recently released on iOS. Lastly, Mat has been playing Splunky on XBLA.

Bounty Board:

Mat, Corey and Jeremy are up for this week’s gaming news segment. Items discussed are:

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO is going free to play in the fall.
  • Rock Band Blitz release date and price announced.
  • Diablo III – wizard and barbarian exploits were found that enable invincibility.
  • Minecraft creators releasing a tool that allow for triggered events.
  • More Kickstarter news including a new VR headset called the Oculus Rift and OUYA. Square Enix has been confirmed as a partner and Final Fantasy III has been announced as a launch title.

Warp Zone:

It’s the battle of the Goderich All-Stars this week as Mat and Jeremy go head-to-head! This week’s topics are:

  • Will Torchlight II take the crown from Diablo III when it arrives?
  • Is there a place in the world for gaming magazines?
  • If Sonic and Mario were competing against each other in the Olympics, who would win?
  • Original Gameboy or TurboExpress?
  • Who would you rather spend a day gaming with, John Marston or Nathan Drake?
