(Trailer) Borderlands 2 – Bazilliondier
Oh man – 2k just dropped a new trailer for Gearbox’s Borderlands 2, that’s packed with 96.5% more wub wub (actual quote). In addition to dubstep and cell-shaded goodness, the trailer also introduces the four new characters: Salvador, Maya, Axton, and Zero. Gear up, vault-hunters and catch a ride on this rocket into the sun.

The Double Fine double down
In an incredible and precedent-creating stroke, Tim Schaefer’s Double Fine game studio has used Kickstarter to raise over $1 million for an upcoming point and click adventure game in less than a day. The company plans to keep the development of the game transparent with an ongoing documentary happening while the game is developed.
Diablo 3 release window opens
Today during an investor conference call, Blizzard let the world know mostly absolutely then the game they’ve been waiting for for 14 years, Diablo 3, would be coming out. Pretty much. With the game coming in Q2, I’m looking forward to seeing Blizzard’s PAX East display.

Not sure how I drew the straw to post about the latest MLB 2K – Verlander vs Verlander video, but here we are. Actually, I’m sure it has something to do with the crazy-talk happening between Justin Verlander and himself, and then the psychic ninja rumble that happens with another dude on a couch inside a trailer.

At first glace some kind of Soviet-era Disney propaganda film, The Cat that Got the Milk takes a classic maze-running game that at first glance looks like Qix, fuses it with only two controls (up and down) adds motion and some confusion, and lets you download it for free. You heard right, this 18-level indie game is free (and 30MB).
