Review: FEZ (XBLA)

Three long years ago I saw a trailer for a game that blew my mind. It was unlike anything I’d seen at the time: a return to side-scrolling pixel platforming. On the day we recorded our very first episode (June 28, 2008) I showed the guys a random clip/trailer I’d found online and right away we were all in awe of what we’d hoped FEZ was going to be.

PAX East Day 0, the Trip Down
Just a quick day recap before heading to bed to get ready for checkin and tomorrow’s 10:30am Gearbox meetup. So far the trip has been great – long, but a fun time. We crossed into New York State around 5:30, paid no toll at the border, and booked it through New York state as fast as legally possible (okay, maybe a bit faster).
