Corey’s playing Don’t Starve, Ian and Warren have been playing Labyrinth Legends with differing opinions and there’s the usual bit of League of Legends talk. ESEA servers have been secretly mining bitcoins on Counterstrike, eventually amounting to $3,600. Corey explains exactly what bitcoins are and what they can be used for and we still have no idea what they are. Three new Grand Theft Auto V trailers released focusing on characters. The WiiU gets hacked so you can play games off USB memory (Andrew thinks it is fake.) The recent WiiU system update has made the system much faster. Microsoft unveils new details about Illumiroom that projects game-related artwork onto the walls of a room. Gearbox and Sega are being sued for allegedly using false images, game play, etc. to promote Colonial Marines. Teaser trailer released for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.

We’re [still] playing League of Legends and Andrew takes us through some of his adventures with Volibear. We received a review copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mathew spent a good chunk of time putting the game through its paces. We also talk Harmonix layoffs, the new Pizza Hut ordering app on Xbox, Bethesda game leak, upcoming Heavenly Sword and Ratchet and Clank movies and a tale of why it’s just not a good idea to pocket $30,000 intended for a game’s promotion.

We’ve been playing League of Legends, Minecraft, Warframe, Mario Kart 3DS, FarCry 3. FarCry 3 Blood Dragon trailer looks and sounds amazing. Ian finally got to experience League of Legends – playing with Leona and having fun. Mathew is looking forward to everyone on the team to get into League of Legends so we can play some epic games. Corey explains the use of the surrender option in League of Legends. Nintendo released a bunch of promos (Earthbound on virtual console, new Zelda set in Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Returns 3D) and Warren questions why Nintendo doesn’t come out with new characters.
GamesDay Audio Show – EP46
We start this week off with some King of Tokyo and Quarriors tabletop games. Mat confesses that he JUST played Plants vs. Zombies for the first time. The whole team is getting into League of Legends. Mat gets two LoL medals which really pisses Corey off. Ian has serious woes trying to get the game to work. Warren has just started playing Slayin’ (iOS) and Guacamelee (PS3) – a Metroid/Castlevania mashup), but w he’ll talk more about it next week. Newsflash! EA gets voted worst American company of the year. Shroud of the Avatar gets $1.9M on Kickstarter. It sounds like it will be a wicked fantasy RPG. Indie developers saying that Microsoft sucks to deal with while Sony is very cooperative.
